Hyderabad Kingsmen's Maaz Sadaqat Lights Up PSL 2026 with Explosive Knock
Maaz smashed one of the fastest half-centuries in the history of the Pakistan Super League, reaching his second PSL half-century in just 19 balls. This puts him level with Luke Ronchi and Sam Billings.
It has to be noted that the record for the fastest PSL fifty remains jointly held by Kamran Akmal, Asif Ali, Hazratullah Zazai, and Rilee Rossouw, all of whom reached the landmark in 17 balls.

Maaz Sadaqat showed his intent early, smashing a huge six off Shehzad Gul and continuing to attack throughout his innings. He mixed powerful shots with smart batting and reached his fifty with a single off Ashton Turner.
Who is Maaz Sadaqat?
Maaz Sadaqat is a young Pakistani all-rounder with solid domestic experience. He has played across formats and scored over 3000 runs in total, averaging above 35.
He got his first ODI call-up after a strong President's Cup 2025, where he scored 374 runs in seven matches, including a quick 57-ball century.
Sadaqat also played for Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 2025, scoring a half-century on debut, and impressed against England Lions with a 53-run knock and two wickets.
PSL 2026: Hyderabad Kingsmen Post a Big Total
The 20-year-old scored a brilliant 62 off just 26 balls, hitting 10 boundaries, including five sixes, before being dismissed by Mohammad Nawaz.
His innings gave Hyderabad Kingsmen the perfect start, helping them post a massive 225-5 in 20 overs. Sharjeel Khan added the finishing touch with an unbeaten 51 off 26 balls, while Saim Ayub (27) and Usman Khan (25) also contributed well.
