Royal Mail Delay Warning: Some areas in the UK will not be able to receive mail on time. Royal Mail has issued a disruption warning alert for postcode areas across the UK. This comes after the Spring Bank Holidays and 'no deliveries or collections' last week.

Royal Mail Issues Delay Warning to 14 Postcodes in the UK

On Monday, May 25, Royal Mail services did not operate and said, "We deliver and collect your mail on most days of the year, including Saturdays. However, we don't usually deliver or collect on public or local holidays."

As of Monday, June 01, Royal Mail is facing delays in some areas across the UK, such as:

• Parts of London

• Nottingham

• Leamington Spa

Royal Mail on Postcodes Delay

In a statement, Royal Mail said, "We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week. In a small number of local offices, this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors."

They added, "In those cases, we will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers. We also provide targeted support to those offices to address their challenges and restore our service to the high standard our customers would normally receive."

They are also sorry for the inconvenience. Despite the delays, Royal Mail's air and road network has run to schedule over the past 24 hours.
