The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)-hosted Naman Awards is currently taking place in New Delhi as plenty of star-studded cricketers have made their way.

While Shubman Gill won the Polly Umrigar Award for the best international cricketer, Mandhana was adjudged as Best International Cricketer in women’s cricket. Gill finished 2025 as the leading run-getter in Test cricket, accumulating 983 runs in nine matches, averaging a mighty 70.21 alongside five hundreds. If not for the injury during the home series against South Africa, the Punjab-born cricketer would have crossed a tally of 1000 runs. Out of the 983 runs last year, 754 of them came during the tour of England, headlined by a career-best of 269 at Edgbaston, Birmingham.

Meanwhile, Mandhana was India’s highest run-getter during their historic run to lifting the 50-over World Cup for the first time, aggregating 571 runs in nine innings at 71.37. The left-hander peeled off one hundred and two fifties in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Lifetime Achievement Awards will be presented to Roger Binny, Rahul Dravid, and Mithali Raj to acknowledge their legacies and contribution to sport in India.
