Taylor Swift's surprise courtside hug with Kylie Jenner is turning heads online especially given the singer's long and complicated history with the Kardashian family.
The pop superstar attended Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden on June 10 where she was spotted greeting Jenner in a moment that broke the internet.
Swift, who was seated with Alana and Este Haim and Mariska Hargitay, briefly embraced the Kylie Cosmetics founder before the two exchanged a few words and returned to their respective groups.
The interaction stood out because of Swift's decade-long feud with Kylie's older sister, Kim Kardashian. Jenner was at the game alongside boyfriend Timothée Chalamet with the couple sporting matching blue-and-orange Chrome Hearts outfits as they cheered on the Knicks.
A video circulating online shows Jenner approaching Swift courtside and congratulating her on the Knicks' victory. The singer, dressed in a blue "Stevie Knicks" graphic T-shirt appeared happy to chat with the beauty mogul.

Taylor Swift And Kim Kardashian's Feud
Tensions between Swift and Kardashian first started 15 years ago. The Skims founder's former husband, Kanye West (now Ye), interrupted Swift's acceptance speech for Video of the Year at the 2009 MTV VMAs. He had later apologised.
Then in 2016, Swift had a fallout with Kardashian after West released his song Famous which mentioned Swift in the lyrics: 'I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous.'
Kardashian then came to defend West by sharing excerpts of a phone call between Swift and the rapper concerning the song. The phone call between the two seemingly proved West and Swift had discussed the track ahead of its release.
The Love Story singer defended herself online where she denied about the phone call.
Years later, Swift talked about the ordeal in a 2023 interview with Time, describing the incident as a turning point in her life, calling it "career death."
'Make no mistake - my career was taken away from me. You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar," she told the outlet.
While Swift has largely moved on from publicly discussing the feud, fans reignited speculation in 2024 when she released "thanK you aIMee" on The Tortured Poets Department, a track widely interpreted as a reference to Kardashian.
