Tecno has shown a concept smartphone with no visible bezels at IFA in Berlin, hiding the edges of its display beneath the phone's metal frame rather than leaving them exposed.
'Bezel-less', the device features a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400e chipset, with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, a 6,000mAh battery and a triple rear camera system led by a 50-megapixel main sensor. Its design and hardware are shared with the recently announced Tecno Camon Slim.
Tecno says it achieved the 0mm bezel through dual-layer cover glass, with the lower layer wrapping around the midframe to hide the inactive display area. This required reversing the usual assembly process, fitting the display from the back and using custom hot-melt adhesive to secure the second glass layer.
The company has not said whether the design will reach production. It also had to rework touch sensitivity because there is no conventional bezel for fingers to rest on.
Ahead of IFA, YouTuber Marques Brownlee tested the phone. He noted that the raised frame could be felt during edge gestures and leaves less room for a protective case.
The phone also features a holographic, lenticular rear finish and a punch-hole selfie camera.
Design innovation
Indian design-led lifestyle-technology brand DailyObjects made its global debut at IFA Berlin 2026, marking its first appearance at the consumer technology show.
The centrepiece of its showcase was NODE, which the company describes as the world's first modular wireless charging ecosystem. It features a single base with four interchangeable modules for charging, holding devices and ambient lighting, allowing users to reconfigure it based on how a space is used.
DailyObjects also unveiled a new Stack lineup for the iPhone 18 series. Instead of a conventional phone case, Stack uses a mechanical stack-and-lock mechanism and magnetic alignment to create an expandable system of stands, grips, wallets, lanyards and colour plates.
The showcase also featured new watch bands, charging accessories and the Loop power bank, alongside products such as the Loft Charging Station and Park Tech Kit. The company also offered a first look at unreleased concepts spanning carry, desk and charging products.
Founded in 2012 by Pankaj Garg and Saurav Adlakha, DailyObjects said its products have won the Red Dot Design Award 2026, iF Design Award 2026 and European Product Design Award 2025.
The company said its Berlin appearance is part of a broader global expansion push, with conversations underway with international retail and distribution partners.
