A viral video from Government Polytechnic College in Malb village, Nuh, shows students throwing chairs and breaking them with hammers to the tune of Mewati songs.
The video, titled 'Mewati Future Engineer', raises concerns about the students' behaviour and the college administration's oversight.
Surprisingly, no staff intervened during the incident, sparking questions about the administration's inaction. The controversy escalated when the video spread from social media to mainstream media, prompting the college and police to respond.
College principal Raheesh stated that the chairs were already worn out and the students acted out of a desire for reel content, which is wrong. "The students will be identified and disciplinary action will be taken against them soon," he added.
Police spokesperson Krishan Kumar said the students made a reel breaking scrap items to increase views on social media.
