The Himachal Pradesh Government today dismissed the services of three Assistant Professors over charges of sexual harassment. All of them were found guilty of sexually harassing their students in their respective colleges.
Pawan Kumar, as assistant professor of dance, has been dismissed for sexually harassing a girl student of Jawahar Lal Nehru Government College of Fine Arts, Loharab, Shimla.
Anil Kumar, as assistant professor of chemistry, has been dismissed for his misconduct with a girl student of Sidharth Government College Naduan, Hamirpur.
Virender Sharma, an assistant professor of mathematics, has been dismissed for harassing a BSC student of Rajiv Gandhi Government Degree College, Chaura Maidan, Shimla.
The dismissal will disqualify all three of them from any future employment under the government.
