Amandeep Medicity, in partnership with Ujala Cygnus, has successfully conducted the implementation of Amritsar's first Navitor transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) system.

The procedure marks a major advancement in the treatment of severe aortic stenosis, offering patients a minimally invasive alternative to conventional open-heart surgery.

The procedure was performed by an Amandeep Medicity team comprising Dr Yadvinder Singh, interventional cardiologist; Dr Pankaj Goel, cardiac surgeon; and Dr Gurpreet Gill, cardiac anaesthetist.

These require seamless collaboration between interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, cardiac anaesthetists, imaging specialists, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals.
