Table Tennis Australia (TTA) has launched Table Tennis TV, a dedicated over-the-top (OTT) digital platform designed to transform how the Australian table tennis community experiences, follows, and engages with the sport.
Rolling out ahead of last weekend's TTA Invitational, Table Tennis TV provides a single destination for live matches, on-demand replays, highlights, and competition content across both national and state level events. This now allows Australian table tennis to be watched in one purpose-built environment.
"Table Tennis TV represents the next stage in our digital evolution," said Nicole Adamson, Chief Executive Officer of Table Tennis Australia. "We've grown our streaming presence from Facebook to YouTube, and now into a dedicated platform that allows us to deliver a more consistent and accessible experience. This evolution is about bringing more value to the table tennis community and creating a digital home that better serves the sport."
"Table Tennis TV has been built to make it easier for our community to find the content that matters to them," said Wade Edwards, General Manager - Customer and Commercial, Table Tennis Australia. "Bringing live streams, replays and highlights into one place creates a more connected experience, with clearer search and navigation helping people follow competitions and revisit key moments."
The platform was developed by SportVot, an India-based sports technology company and TTA's broadcast production partner.
"Table Tennis TV marks a significant step forward in how Australian table tennis can be consumed, and we are therefore proud to support TTA on this journey," said Tim Anderson,
Managing Director of SportVot Australia. "From a platform perspective, the initial focus has been on making content easier to discover and more enjoyable to watch, however, we also look forward to introducing new features over time."
For SportVot, the launch reflects a broader vision of enabling sports organisations to move beyond distribution and towards owning their digital ecosystems.
"Most sports bodies stream content; very few build platforms that are designed specifically for their sport," said Sidhhant Agarwal, Founder of SportVot. "Table Tennis TV is a strong example of what becomes possible when a sport chooses to create a digital home of its own; one that supports continuity, ownership, and long-term digital growth. As an Indian company working with sports globally, it's exciting to help bring that vision to life."
Table Tennis TV is now live and accessible via web and mobile, with apps available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
