Kandukur: Joint Collector Kalpana Kumari said special grievance programmes are being conducted at the constituency level to solve public problems quickly at the ground level.
She participated in the special Public Grievance Redressal System held in Kandukur on Friday, along with the local MLA Inturi Nageswara Rao and sub-collector D Himavanshi. They received a total of 237 petitions from the public, and the joint collector directed officials concerned to take immediate action on them.
Speaking at the programme, Kalpana Kumari said the district administration was holding such grievance programmes four times a month in the same assembly constituency to identify and solve field-level problems. She said the entire district machinery was reaching out to the people as directed by the chief minister, with special focus on revenue issues. She said the state government had issued a fresh circular guiding tahsildars and RDOs on this.
The MLA said it was a good development that the district machinery was coming to the people, and asked officials to solve the problems raised, particularly those relating to farm extent and online issues faced by farmers, who form a majority in the constituency.
