In a remarkable show of inclusivity, 2,813 participants formed a human infinity symbol--the global emblem of neurodiversity--at an autism awareness event held at Malla Reddy Engineering College and Management Sciences.
Organised by Marham - Resonating Resilience in partnership with WICCI Holistic Child Development Council and Google Developer Group Hyderabad, the initiative surpassed the previous record of 2,025 participants.
The feat earned recognition from the India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records. Participants included individuals on the autism spectrum, families, students, and professionals, highlighting inclusive participation.
Organisers said the event aimed to promote awareness, acceptance, and empathy towards neurodiverse individuals. Speakers emphasised that collective action is key to building a more inclusive society and fostering meaningful social change.
