Vijayawada: A total of 3,44,011 candidates will appear for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET)-2026, scheduled to be conducted from May 12 to 20 across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has completed all arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination, which is being organised by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Kakinada (JNTUK) under the convenership of Prof N Mohan Rao.
According to APSCHE Secretary Prof B Tirupathi Rao, the examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode in two sessions daily. The morning session will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon session will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm, he said.
He further said that as many as 142 examination centres have been set up across 48 towns in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Candidates will be allowed entry into the examination centres from 7.30 am for the morning session and from 12.30 pm for the afternoon session, he added.
Meanwhile, Prof Tirupathi Rao made it clear that candidates arriving even a minute after the stipulated reporting time will not be permitted into the examination hall under any circumstances. He instructed candidates to carry only their hall ticket, application form, valid photo identity proof and a ballpoint pen.
He also stated that electronic gadgets, including mobile phones, smartwatches and other communication devices, are strictly prohibited inside the examination centres. He advised candidates to reach their respective centres well in advance and strictly follow all examination guidelines to avoid inconvenience.
