'Aasmaan' launched with grand ceremony; Meghamsh Srihari headlines mythological thriller

The upcoming film Aasmaan, produced under the banner of Sri KlinKaara Celluloids, was officially launched with a grand pooja ceremony, marking the production house's first cinematic venture.

The film is produced by Kondaru Venkatesh and Srikanth Mannem, while Ram Nandhan directs the project. Actor Meghamsh Srihari will play the lead role in the suspense-driven mythological thriller.

The launch event witnessed the presence of several notable guests from the film industry, including Sai Durgha Tej, Sundeep Kishan, Niharika Konidela, Roshan Kanakala, and Narne Nithiin. Sai Durgha Tej gave the ceremonial first clap, while Sundeep Kishan switched on the camera. The first shot was directed by Ram Nandhan, and Niharika Konidela officially launched the script.

Aasmaan is being designed as an edge-of-the-seat thriller that blends mythological themes with suspenseful storytelling. The film is expected to present Meghamsh Srihari in a powerful and intense role, offering audiences a fresh cinematic experience.

Director Ram Nandhan, who makes his Telugu debut with this film, previously directed two successful Arabic films. He also worked as an assistant to veteran filmmaker Kodi Ramakrishna, which helped shape his understanding of the genre.

The film's technical team includes music composer Prashanth R Vihari, cinematographer Shoyabh, and art director Krishna Mohan Talluri. Swapna Kondaru serves as the CEO of the production banner, while Praveen Gundlathoti is the executive producer.

Speaking at the launch event, the producers expressed confidence that Aasmaan would offer a unique cinematic experience by combining mythology with suspense. The team plans to begin filming in May and is targeting an October release.

With a promising storyline, experienced technical crew, and a passionate production team, Aasmaan is gearing up to go on floors soon and is expected to release in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Arabic.
