Anantapur: In collaboration with the Ambika Foundation and to commemorate the birthday of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, a free hearing aid distribution programme was grandly organized by MP, Ambika Lakshminarayana, at the Vasavi Kalyana Mandapam in New town Anantapur city.
During this programme, medical screenings were conducted for a total of 280 patients suffering from hearing impairments; subsequently, modern hearing aids were distributed free of cost to 130 eligible beneficiaries among them.
Hearing aids will be provided to the remaining individuals in a subsequent phase of the distribution programme.
Additionally, tricycles were distributed to 10 differently-abled individuals who had applied for assistance during this event.
Through these hearing aids, their hearing ability will improve, bringing greater ease and convenience to their daily lives.
Speaking on this occasion, Anantapur Ambika Lakshminarayana, stated that the Chandrababu Naidu, consistently undertakes numerous developmental and welfare initiatives for the well-being of the people.
