Former Minister and Karimnagar MLA Gangula Kamalakar inaugurated the two-day expo along with Maitri Group Chairman Kotha Jayapal Reddy. After lighting the ceremonial lamp, the dignitaries visited exhibition stalls showcasing construction materials, equipment and modern technologies.

Addressing the gathering, Gangula said civil engineers play a vital role in ensuring quality infrastructure and planned urban development. He noted that Karimnagar is expanding rapidly and said the demand for qualified civil engineers is expected to rise in India and abroad.
