A serious road accident occurred near Padugupadu in Kovur Mandal when a non-stop RTC bus travelling from Nellore to Kavali collided with an excavator, causing widespread concern in the local area.

The collision resulted in injuries to approximately 20 passengers and both drivers. The severity of the crash left the bus driver trapped inside his cabin, prompting local residents to work swiftly to free him.

Upon receiving the distress call, police rushed to the scene and launched rescue operations. The injured were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the causes of the accident.
