Late last night, a severe road accident took place within the jurisdiction of Gachibowli Police Station, situated in Hyderabad's IT corridor.
A car lost control on the main road from Masjid Banda towards Kondapur Botanical Garden and collided violently with a traffic outpost.
The front of the vehicle was badly damaged, with the engine compartment crushed inward. The occupants of the car sustained serious injuries and were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, where they are currently receiving medical care.
Following the incident, Gachibowli police arrived at the scene and began an investigation into the cause of the crash. Initial suspicions point to excessive speed as the primary factor. Authorities are also conducting tests to determine if the driver was under the influence of alcohol, with blood samples likely to be collected for analysis.
