Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Disciplinary Committee Chairman Mallu Ravi on Sunday said the committee had reviewed complaints received from various constituencies and initiated steps to address internal party issues.

Speaking to the media after a meeting of the Disciplinary Committee at Gandhi Bhavan, Ravi said an inquiry was conducted into a complaint from the Palakurthi constituency. As part of the inquiry, discussions were held with MLA Yashaswini Reddy and party leader Jhansi Reddy. Mallu Ravi observed that the existence of rival groups within the constituency was causing damage to the party and said the committee had appointed MLC Shankar Naik as an observer to assess the situation and help resolve the differences.

Ravi also stated that the committee had received a complaint from Kamareddy concerning party leader Gaddam Chandrashekhar Reddy. Notices have been issued based on complaints submitted by local party leaders, he added.

Commenting on the political situation in the state, Ravi criticised BRS leaders KT Rama Rao (KTR) and T Harish Rao, alleging that they were unable to come to terms with the party's electoral defeat.

He praised the Congress government's performance under Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, describing the administration as exemplary and asserting that Telangana was emerging as a model state in the country. According to Ravi, the "Telangana Model" was attracting attention from other states, including Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Referring to the Congress party's decade-long stint in the opposition, Ravi said party leaders had faced several restrictions during that period. He accused the opposition of making provocative statements despite enjoying democratic freedoms under the current government and urged political leaders to maintain restraint in their public remarks.
