Hanumakonda: Warangal Member of Parliament Dr Kadiyam Kavya stated that everyone must strive to achieve the ideals of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule and that the path shown by him for equality and social justice continues to guide the present generation.

She said that Phule's contributions towards women's development and expansion of education are unforgettable.

On Phule's 200th birth anniversary, Kavya, along with Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy, MLC Baswaraju Saraiah, and District Collectors Dr. Satya Sharada and Chahat Bajpai, paid floral tributes to the statue of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule at Mulugu Cross Road on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, the MP said that Jyotirao Phule laid the foundation for women empowerment and was a great reformer who showed new directions to society through education for the backward sections. She stated that his struggle for equality and social justice remains an inspiration to all.

The MP further stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the Congress government in the state has successfully conducted a historic caste census. She said that the survey was carried out by comprehensively considering social, economic, educational, and political aspects. By presenting the collected data in the Assembly, the "Telangana model" has emerged as an example for the entire nation.

Kavya demanded that the caste census model implemented in Telangana should be extended across the country by the Central Government. She emphasized that caste census is crucial for achieving inclusive development and equal opportunities.
