Young hero Sumanth Prabhas is set to entertain audiences with the rural love and family drama 'Godari Gattupaina'. Directed by Subhash Chandra and produced by Red Puppet Productions, the film features Nidhi Pradeep as the heroine, with Jagapathi Babu in a key role.
The teaser, trailer, and songs have received a wonderful response, and the film is slated for a worldwide release on May 8.
Speaking about the film, producer Abhinav shared, "The journey of making my first film has been very good. It was tough, but I believe doing something tough in any industry is always rewarding."
On the title, he said, "We considered a few options, but 'Godari Gattupaina' felt very close to nativity. I suggested it, and the director liked it too. Since it connects universally, we finalized this title."
Explaining the choice of Sumanth Prabhas, Abhinav stated, "An actor always looks for challenging roles. Though he is fluent in Telangana dialect, he took it as a challenge to learn the Godari accent and performed wonderfully. Audiences will surely appreciate his effort."
Praising director Subhash Chandra, he mentioned, "I listened to several stories before this, but Subhash's narration stood out. He is highly dedicated and technically strong, with complete focus on the film."
About Sunil Narang's support, Abhinav said, "He has been my guide and well-wisher. His encouragement helped me collaborate with experienced actors like Jagapathi Babu, Laila, and Rajiv Kanakala in my very first film."
Speaking about the female lead, he added, "Nidhi Pradeep perfectly fits the character. The emotional bond between her and Jagapathi Babu is one of the highlights."
He further explained, "The emotions in the story are presented in a very unique way, offering a wholesome theatrical experience. The film beautifully blends emotions, comedy, and drama."
