Hyderabad: The Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Foundation commemorated its tenth anniversary at Narsingi on Saturday, celebrating the milestone of serving fifteen crore cumulative meals to the underprivileged.
Chief Guest Jayesh Ranjan inaugurated automated dosa-making and vessel-sealing machines designed by the in-house team before flagging off delivery vehicles. The event was attended by Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa, Aurobindo Pharma Director M Siva Kumaran, and GHMC Additional Commissioners Badavath Santhosh and N Ravi Kiran.
Aurobindo Pharma Vice-Chairman K Nityananda Reddy lauded the decade-long partnership supporting kitchens in Narsingi, Mahabubnagar, Srikakulam, and Kakinada. Operating initiatives like Bhojanamrita and the Rs 5 breakfast scheme, the foundation currently feeds 71,000 individuals daily. This sustainable double milestone of a decade of service and massive catering expansion reflects robust corporate collaboration alongside state governance backing.
