Hyderabad: J Harish of Chennai emerged champion in the Brilliant Trophy Open Online Chess Tournament, scoring an impressive 11.5 points from 12 rounds.
Ansh Malhotra secured second place with 9.5 points, while J. Malleswara Rao finished third with 9 points in the event conducted online.
The top ten finishers included J Sriharish, Krishna Kishore Rallabandi, Siddharth Pernati, Srujan Keerthan, P S S Nandagopal, Abhishek J R, Abdallah M Nistar, and P Harshith.
Lopamudra Aadya Annambhotla was named Best Woman player, while P K Sankaran earned Best Veteran honours in the competition.
