Health app launched to strengthen student care across TGMRIES schools

A full-stack health application developed by Health and Hygiene Foundation (HHF) has been introduced to support health governance across Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society schools.

The platform integrates clinical management, mental health support, and food safety and hygiene monitoring into a single system.

The application will serve as the core of a 24×7 command and control health centre, enabling more than 200 TGMRIES schools to monitor and manage student health in real time. The system is designed to ensure continuity of care, improve accountability, and support better health outcomes for students through a structured approach. The app was launched by Md Azharuddin, Minister for Minority Welfare, in the presence of Faheem Qureshi, President of TGMRIES, and B Shafiullah, Principal Secretary, Minority Welfare, Government of Telangana, amd HHF founder Mujtaba Askari.

Officials noted that the initiative aims to streamline health services within residential schools by combining multiple aspects of student well-being into a unified digital platform. The launch event was held at the Forest Academy in Dulapally.
