The metro transit, from Raidurg Metro Station to Rasoolpura Metro Station, a distance of 14 km, was executed in 25 minutes (11:40 am to 12:05 pm), Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd said in a post on X. The transit was carried out through seamless operational coordination, ensuring the timely movement of the donor organs during a critical phase of the transplantation process, it said.

The mission was conducted through close coordination between Hyderabad Metro Rail, healthcare professionals and hospital authorities, reinforcing Hyderabad Metro's role in supporting time-critical medical interventions, it added.
