Ichchapuram (Srikakulam district): Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has expanded its footprint in Andhra Pradesh with the inauguration of a new branch at Ichchapuram in Srikakulam district on Wednesday.

The branch was formally inaugurated by Ravi Kumar Gupta, Senior Regional Manager (SRM) of IOB's Visakhapatnam Region, in the presence of branch manager Bikash Chandra Behera, Palasa branch manager Kella Trinadha Rao, staff members, and customers.

Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Kumar Gupta stated that the newly opened branch is the sixth IOB branch in Srikakulam district and 78th branch in Visakhapatnam Region. The SRM further informed that the branch will provide access to various social security schemes, including Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), and Atal Pension Yojana (APY).

Highlighting the bank's diverse financial services, he said IOB offers a wide range of loan products such as MSME, housing, vehicle, education, retail, agriculture, jewellery, Mudra loans, Self-Help Group (SHG) financing, and the PM Surya Ghar solar rooftop scheme.

Emphasising the bank's commitment to economic growth, Gupta stated that Indian Overseas Bank is playing a vital role in supporting the state's development and is aligned with the vision of 'Swarnandhra 2047 - One Entrepreneur in Each Family'.
