Hyderabad: In its 25th year, the Indian School of Business (ISB) welcomed 839 students to the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) Class of 2027. The students were distributed across Hyderabad (424) and Mohali (415) campuses, signifying continued growth and commitment to academic excellence as part of ISB's Silver Jubilee celebrations.
The PGP Class of 2027 brings together early-career professionals and those with extensive experience, with an average age of 26 and work experience ranging from 2 to 18 years. Over 45% of the class are women, enriching the academic environment through diversity. Students hail from more than 12 industries and 15 functional areas, reflecting ISB's broad reach across ITeS, banking, consulting, e-commerce, media, and FMCG.
The PGP Class of 2027 includes individuals from the Armed Forces, public sector organisations such as ISRO and BARC, entrepreneurs, and professionals across fields such as medicine, law and engineering, and the creative arts. The cohort also includes award-winning achievers, including All India Rank holders, athletes and scholars.
In line with its commitment to access and diversity, ISB awarded scholarships totalling INR 12 crore to about 13% of the cohort. These scholarships, recognising merit and diverse backgrounds, include international diversity, the Armed Forces, and partner-supported initiatives, offering partial to full tuition funding.
Welcoming the new class, Professor Deepa Mani, Deputy Dean, Academic Programmes, ISB, highlighted: "We are delighted to welcome the PGP Class of 2027 to ISB. This cohort reflects the diversity, talent, and aspiration that shape our global community. As ISB marks 25 years of leadership, we look forward to supporting these students in becoming responsible leaders who will create meaningful impact in a rapidly evolving world."
