Visakhapatnam: As part of his two-day trip, religious leader for the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Jayapataka Swami is visiting Visakhapatnam on April 8. Known for his dedication to spreading Krishna consciousness across the globe, the Vedic scholar and spiritual leader will visit Simhachalam temple on April 8 along with over 500 Sanyasis.
Jayapataka Swami has played a key role in establishing temples, initiating educational drives and promoting spirituality among communities across the world. As part of the noble initiative aimed at strengthening world peace, the Vedic scholar will participate in a spiritual rally along with nearly 600 devotees. The rally will proceed from Kali Matha Temple, RK Beach to The Park Hotel at 5 p.m.on Wednesday.
Visakhapatnam City Commissioner of Police Shankabrata Bagchi is expected to flag off the rally. In the evening, Jayapataka Swami will attend the 'Bhajan Clubbing' event presented by ISKCON, Visakhapatnam at MGM Park, Beach Road. Over 500 monks from across India are expected to take part in the programme scheduled to begin at 6 pm onwards.
