A shocking kidnapping case came to light after a fatal road accident in Bareilly led to the rescue of a man and two children who had been abducted from Gurugram.

The crash, which occurred on the Bareilly-Rampur stretch of the Lucknow-Delhi highway, killed three of the alleged kidnappers and left another critically injured.

According to police, the victims-identified as Manoj and two children-were being transported in an SUV when the vehicle collided with a tanker. The impact of the crash was severe, completely damaging the vehicle and resulting in multiple casualties. While three accused died on the spot, the kidnapped victims survived, though injured, and were rushed to a hospital for treatment.

Investigators revealed that the kidnapping may have stemmed from a personal dispute. One of the deceased accused reportedly had connections with Manoj's extended family. Police suspect that tensions arising from a relationship involving a woman linked to the family could have been a key motive behind the abduction. There are also indications that the accused may have been planning to harm Manoj.

Following the incident, local police identified the deceased suspects and began piecing together the sequence of events. The surviving accused is currently under medical care and police watch. Meanwhile, a team from Haryana Police has reached Bareilly and is expected to take over the investigation, as the kidnapping originated in Gurugram.

Authorities believe the accused were moving the victims to another location when the accident occurred, inadvertently exposing the crime. Further investigation is underway to uncover the full details and any additional involvement in the case.
