Nellore: Medicover Hospitals, Nellore, has successfully performed 9th bone marrow transplant on a patient suffering from a blood-related cancer, utilising state-of-the-art cancer treatment facilities.
A team of experts successfully completed the transplant under the leadership of Dr Y Mounika Reddy (Consultant Hematologist and Bone Marrow Transplant Specialist) and Dr G Rangaraman (Senior Consultant Medical Oncologist and Bone Marrow Transplant Specialist).
Dr Y Mounika Reddy stated that bone marrow transplantation is a crucial, life-saving treatment for patients suffering from blood cancers and blood-related disorders; she noted that timely treatment using advanced medical facilities significantly improves the chances of recovery. Dr G Rangaraman mentioned that they are providing bone marrow transplant services that meet international standards right here in Nellore.
