Anantapur: State Minister for Finance, Planning, Commercial Taxes, and Legislative Affairs, Payyavula Keshav, on Monday conducted a Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) programme at his camp office in Kaukunta village of Uravakonda mandal, receiving petitions from residents on various issues.
As part of the programme, a public hearing (Praja Darbar) was held, where people from different parts of the constituency presented their grievances in person.
The Minister personally received representations related to a range of civic and administrative concerns and assured prompt action.
Addressing the gathering, Keshav stated that the government led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is committed to prioritising the resolution of public grievances. He said the coalition government has been consistently implementing the PGRS initiative since assuming office, with a focused approach towards addressing the concerns raised by citizens.
The Minister emphasized that resolving public issues remains a key objective of the government and that all necessary measures would be taken to ensure timely redressal. He added that petitions received during the programme would be reviewed and forwarded to the concerned departments for immediate action. Officials present at the event coordinated with local authorities to document and process the complaints, ensuring that each case is tracked and addressed systematically. The Minister also interacted with attendees, including local leaders and affected individuals, to understand the nature of their issues in detail.
Reiterating the government's commitment to responsive governance, Keshav assured that no undue delay would be allowed in resolving public grievances and that continuous monitoring would be undertaken to ensure effective implementation of solutions.
