Minister Laxman Kumar reaffirms push for tribal development in Dharmapuri

Peddapalli: Telangana Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar on Tuesday said the government was committed to providing all basic infrastructure in every tribal thanda and gudem village in the Dharmapuri Assembly constituency.

The Minister participated in Seethla Panduga celebrations held at Maddulapalli, Yedumotalapalli and Rajaram thandas in Pegadapalli mandal. Addressing the gatherings, he said the government had prioritised improving infrastructure in tribal habitations across the constituency. As part of these efforts, road works worth Rs 68 crore had been taken up in Pegadapalli mandal to improve connectivity between several thandas.

Laxman Kumar said special focus was being given to ensuring better civic amenities in tribal settlements so that residents could access essential services and improved connectivity. He also announced that Rs 25 lakh had been sanctioned for the construction of a Tribal Bhavan at Maddulapalli village and directed officials to earmark two acres of government land for the project.

The Minister said the government would continue to strengthen infrastructure in tribal areas as part of its commitment to their overall development.
