Hyderabad: Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vinay Krishna Reddy has instructed officials to work towards increasing greenery in the city.
On Wednesday officers and staff inspected the Old Alwal Road, Kandadi Enclave, Saraswati Colony, Maccha Bollaram, Vijay Vihar Enclave, and Railway Employees Colony Phase-1 areas of Alwal. On this occasion, the Commissioner inspected the Alwal Road near the Indira Gandhi Statue in Alwal.
He spoke to the sanitation workers and reviewed the performance of the machinery and equipment used for road cleaning. He inquired about the effectiveness of the equipment in keeping the roads clean and increasing the efficiency of sanitation activities.
He advised the officers and staff to make effective use of the available equipment and keep public places cleaner. Also, the storm water drains and overflow water canals were inspected in the Old Alwal Road, Kandadi Enclave, and Saraswati Colony areas of Alwal.
