Actress and censor board member Naga Sahithi inaugurated the five-day Handloom India Expo 2026 at Kamma Sangham, Ameerpet. Organised by Jagadiswar Hastkala, the exhibition runs until May 4, showcasing a wide range of handcrafted cotton and silk wear, including exclusive handloom saris.
Speaking on the occasion, Naga Sahithi highlighted the importance of such platforms in connecting artisans with consumers seeking authentic, well-designed traditional wear.
Organizer Jayesh Kumar said the expo aims to support weavers by providing direct market access, eliminating middlemen and ensuring customers receive pure silk and cotton products straight from the source.
