Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu released a book CBN@361 Degrees-Polymath at a special event organised by the Kakatiya Cultural Association in Singapore on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister presented the first copies of the book to Shilpak Ambule, High Commissioner of India to Singapore. The book was written by Shakamuri Srinivasa Prasad, chief editor of Repatikosam daily and translated into English by retired IAS officer K V Satyanarayana. The publication offers an in-depth analysis of the decisions taken by Chandrababu Naidu as a visionary leader across different phases of his public life and governance.
Speaking on the occasion, author Shakamuri Srinivasa Prasad said that Naidu's leadership style and decision-making reflect the vision-driven approach demonstrated by globally acclaimed leaders such as former Singapore Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew and former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
He noted that Naidu's commitment to long-term planning, economic development and construction of Amaravati as a world-class capital city exemplifies this approach.Former AP RERA chairman Ramanath stated that the book brings to light several lesser-known aspects of Chandrababu Naidu's leadership and governance philosophy, drawing from observations and insights that are not widely known to the public.
During the event, the Kakatiya Cultural Association honoured Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu with the Global Polymath Award. The Association also presented him with a commemorative silver coin released to mark the birth centenary of Singapore's founding leader, Lee Kuan Yew.
Representatives of the association announced that the book will soon be published in Telugu, Hindi and several other Indian languages. They also noted that the digital version of the earlier publication, Chandrababu X.0, had recorded over 8 million downloads.
Former AP RERA chairman Ramanath, K V Satyanarayana, Shankara Prasad and prominent members of Telugu community in Singapore participated.
