Bengaluru: SayTrees, an Indian NGO dedicated to combating climate change through large-scale tree plantations, has developed and inaugurated a Miyawaki Park at The Border Bayonets, 103 BN BSF, Bengaluru.

The park was inaugurated by Shri Shiv Adhar Shrivastav in the presence of Harjinder Kumar and other BSF officers. The initiative was undertaken under a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project by SayTrees.

SayTrees is recognised as one of India's fastest-growing NGOs focused on nature conservation and tree plantations, actively working towards UN Sustainable Development Goals related to climate action and life on land.

Miyawaki forests, known for using dense plantations of native species, are designed to grow 10 times faster and become 30 times denser than conventional plantations. These green spaces help restore land, strengthen ecosystems, support biodiversity, improve soil health, and enhance long-term climate resilience in urban settings.

The NGO expressed gratitude to the Border Security Force (BSF) and all partners for their support in making the project possible. This Miyawaki Park aligns with broader goals of environmental sustainability, biodiversity conservation, and climate action, contributing to a greener India.
