NSUI raises student safety concerns after Wanaparthy road mishap

Wanaparthy: NSUI Wanaparthy district leader B. Srikanth visited a student from Vaddevata village in Kothakota mandal who was injured in a recent road accident near Gayatri Polytechnic College, Wanaparthy.

He enquired about the student's health and extended moral support to the family.

Srikanth also spoke to Devarakadra MLA G. Madhusudan Reddy (GMR) over the phone and facilitated a conversation between the MLA and the injured student. The MLA assured all possible assistance, including support for medical expenses.

Demanding strict action against the RTC bus driver allegedly responsible for the accident, Srikanth accused the driver of negligent and reckless driving that endangered students' lives.

He urged RTC Regional and Divisional Managers to take disciplinary action and implement measures to prevent similar incidents. He also appealed to transport officials to deploy additional RTC buses in Wanaparthy to meet the growing demand from students and commuters. NSUI leaders Sukumar, Abrar, Naresh and Karthik were present.
