Anakapalli: As part of the major administrative initiative aimed at ensuring transparent governance and swift redressal of public grievances, the Andhra Pradesh government will launch its ambitious 'One Month -One Constituency-Four Visits' programme in Chodavaram on Friday.

Announcing the initiative, Anakapalli District collector Vijaya Krishnan said the Chodavaram Assembly constituency has been selected for the implementation of the prestigious programme in Anakapalli district.

The programme will be conducted on May 29 from 10 am to 1 pm at Madhava function hall near Kothuru junction in Chodavaram mandal. The event will be inaugurated in the presence of the Chodavaram constituency MLA KSNS Raju along with senior district officials and representatives from various government departments.

District collector Vijaya Krishnan stated that the initiative has been designed to ensure that no public petitions remain pending in government offices while bringing grievance redressal services directly to the doorstep of the citizens. The programme aims to resolve public complaints within a period of one month and transform villages into grievance-free and revenue dispute-free administrative units. Further, she explained that the programme seeks to provide permanent solutions to recurring public issues so that people are not forced to repeatedly submit petitions related to the same challenges. The initiative is also expected to reduce court disputes and promote a saturation-based governance model that would help create villages free of long-pending revenue issues.

The collector expressed confidence that the programme would enhance public trust and satisfaction in government administration through efficient, transparent and people-centric governance. Residents of the Chodavaram constituency are advised to submit their grievances related to revenue and other government services directly before officials during the conference to get them resolved at the earliest.

Officials from all government departments will participate in the programme and receive petitions from the public. Mandal-level officials and Village Revenue Officers were directed to attend the conference with complete village records and updated rural data pertaining to their respective jurisdictions to ensure effective and immediate disposal of grievances.
