Guntur: RVR & JC College of Engineering (Autonomous), Chandramoulipuram-Chowdavaram, will celebrate its 38th outgoing batch and 11th Autonomous Graduation Day celebrations will be held on Saturday at the college campus.
The Governor of Odisha Dr Kambhampati Haribabu will attend the function as the chief guest while the vice-chancellor of ANU Prof Kancharla Gangadhara Rao will be the guest of honour.
A total of 1,256 undergraduate students of the 2022-26 batch from the Civil, Chemical, Computer Science, Computer Science & Business Systems, Computer Science (Data Science), Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning), Computer Science (Internet of Things), Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering departments will receive their engineering degrees.
In addition, 179 postgraduate students will be awarded their PG degrees.
College secretary and correspondent Rayapati Gopala Krishna and treasurer Dr Kondabolu Krishna Prasad said that 13 gold medals will be presented to students who secured the highest academic distinction.
