Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 12 results for the 2025-26 academic session on Wednesday.
The national pass percentage stood at 85.20 per cent, which is a dip of over 3 percentage points compared to the previous year.
Students in Odisha performed well, with schools in Bhubaneswar reporting high scores, despite a slightly lower overall regional pass percentage of 81.71 per cent. Nationally, girls outshined boys with a pass percentage of 88.86 per cent against 82.13 per cent for boys.
The results show a marginal dip in performance in Odisha, with the Bhubaneswar region pass percentage at 81.71 per cent compared to 83.64 per cent last year. Over 94,000 students across the country scored above 90 per cent, and over 17,000 students scored above 95 per cent.
The SAI International Education Group has once again raised the bar in academic excellence with outstanding results in the CBSE Class XII examinations. Continuing their legacy of excellence, both SAI International School (SIS) and SAI International Residential School (SIRS) achieved a 100 per cent First-Division result, maintaining an unbroken record since inception. Tarun Tapan Bhuyan in Humanities and Vatsal Agarwal in Commerce topped SAI International School with an outstanding 98.8 per cent, reflecting the institution's academic excellence across all streams. Tamanna Bal from Science stream secured 98.4 per cent.
At SAI International Residential School, the top position was secured by Soumili Maitra from the Humanities stream with 98.6 per cent.
Similarly, in the Commerce stream, Rama Krushna Panda secured the top position with 96.8 per cent. In the Science stream, Jayesh Agrawal emerged as the topper with an exceptional score of 94 per cent.
