The Specialty Hospitals Association in Andhra Pradesh has announced the suspension of their strike at hospitals operating under the NTR Vaidya Seva Trust . The decision was made following assurances from the government received earlier today.
The Hospitals Management Association stated that they have called off the strike after the government committed to releasing ₹1,000 crore in payments within the next 10 days. The association warned that if the dues are not cleared within this period, they will resume a complete suspension of medical services.
Officials have also shared the minutes of the recent meeting with the government, which outline the assurances given and the discussions held. With the strike withdrawn, all medical services under the NTR Vaidya Seva scheme are set to resume immediately.
