Hyderabad: The Telangana government has made elaborate arrangements to celebrate Telangana Formation Day in a grand manner across Hyderabad and district headquarters on Tuesday.

To create a festive atmosphere, the Department of Language and Culture will organise cultural performances by artistes. The Energy Department has been instructed to ensure uninterrupted power supply, arrange backup generators and illuminate prominent landmarks, including the Assembly, Secretariat, Charminar, Praja Bhavan and other government buildings.
The Roads and Buildings Department has been directed to arrange waterproof shamianas and barricading at the venue in view of possible weather changes. Civic authorities have been asked to ensure sanitation, cleanliness and adequate drinking water facilities at the venue and surrounding areas. The Information and Public Relations Department will oversee live telecast and publicity arrangements.
