Hyderabad: In a landmark development for Telangana's real estate sector, the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) has achieved a record-breaking price realisation in its Raidurg e-auction, with land fetching approximately Rs.237 crore per acre.

The auction result marks a 70.5% increase over the reserve price of Rs 139 crore per acre and sets a new benchmark for land values in the region. The auctioned parcel comprises Plot No. 1A & 1/F, a prime 6.29-acre multi-use land parcel located in Hyderabad's Raidurg growth corridor. According to officials, the auction witnessed strong participation from leading national developers, resulting in highly competitive bidding and a total transaction value of approximately Rs.1,490.73 crore.

The latest outcome surpasses the previous benchmark set in TGIIC's 2025 auction, where land fetched around Rs.177 crore per acre, reflecting an increase of nearly 34% and reinforcing Hyderabad's position as one of India's most attractive real estate investment destinations.

The e-auction was conducted through the MSTC platform, ensuring a transparent and fully digital bidding process. JLL served as the transaction advisor for the auction.

TGIIC Vice-Chairman and Managing Director K. Shashanka, IAS, said the strong response reflected investor confidence in Hyderabad and Telangana's growth trajectory.

He said the record price discovery highlighted the strength of the state's investment ecosystem and the effectiveness of its transparent auction model.
