The 17th edition of the Indian Auto Expo recently concluded, this time around the event was spread across six days starting from January 17th and concluding on 22nd.
The event was inaugurated by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who applauded the contribution of the auto industry to the economy. He also lauded efforts made towards sustainability and highlighted that the future of mobility belongs to India. The Auto Expo 2025 witnessed participation of Indian and global automakers. At the event automakers showcased, launched and unveiled their products and innovations. With a spotlight on the future of mobility automakers presented their new energy vehicles (NEVs) range along with ICE vehicles. Maruti Suzuki
Maruti Suzuki introduced its first ever electric car, the e Vitara at the event. The e Vitara debuted with 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery packs boasting a range of over 500 km on a single charge. The e Vitara gets 2WD and AWD options. Other cars showcased by Maruti Suzuki at the event included:

Mercedes-Benz
India's top selling luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz usually has an interesting lineup for the Indian market and at this event the company launched the Maybach GLS 600 Night Series. Apart from this launch the company also showcased:

Hyundai
Korean automaker Hyundai launched the much anticipated Creta Electric at Auto Expo 2025. The Creta Electric debuted with 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery packs boasting a range of up to 473 km.
