German luxury and sports car manufacturer BMW has launched the 4th gen X3 SUV in India at the Indian Auto Expo 2025. The launch of the fourth-generation BMW X3 marks another step in the brand's effort to strengthen its presence in the Indian luxury SUV market after a strong sales performance last year.
The latest iteration of the BMW X3 will be produced in India and its deliveries are scheduled to begin from April 2025.
2025 BMW X3: Powertrain
The new BMW X3 is offered in two engine configurations. The petrol-powered X3 20 features a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged engine delivering 190 hp and 310 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the diesel-powered X3 20d comes with a 2.0-litre engine producing 197 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Both variants are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and offer all-wheel-drive capabilities.
2025 BMW X3: Design
The SUV showcases BMW's refreshed design language. Key exterior highlights include a redesigned kidney grille, updated front and rear bumpers, LED headlights with dual L-shaped DRLs, and Y-shaped LED taillamps. The M Sport styling package, featuring 19-inch alloy wheels, is standard across both variants.
2025 BMW X3: Features
On the inside, the BMW X3 features a revamped cabin equipped with modern technology and premium materials. The dashboard houses a 14.9-inch curved infotainment system integrated with a 12.3-inch digital driver's display. The system runs on BMW's iDrive 9 operating system. Other notable features include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated sports seats, a Harman Kardon sound system, a flat-bottom steering wheel and more.
2025 BMW X3: Pricing
BMW has launched the 2025 model year X3 in India with petrol and diesel engine options. The X3 has petrol has been introduced with a starting ex-showroom price tag of Rs 75.80 lakh and the X3 diesel range has been introduced with a starting ex-showroom price tag of Rs Rs 77.80 lakh The latest X3 takes on rivals such as the Mercedes-Benz GLC and Audi Q5 and other luxury SUVs in its segment.
