Toyota has shared a teaser of the Urban Cruiser BEV on its social media channels, indicating an upcoming electric vehicle for the Indian market.

The electric SUV was first displayed as the Urban BEV Concept at Auto Expo 2025. In December 2025, Toyota introduced the Urban Cruiser BEV in the European market, revealing key technical specifications and features that are expected to form the basis for the India-bound version.

The teaser offers brief but clear visual cues about the upcoming electric SUV. It shows a compact SUV silhouette with an upright stance. A close-up shot in the teaser also shows an EV charging connector being plugged into the vehicle.

DC fast charging support allows the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in a claimed 45 minutes.

Both battery options are available with a front-wheel-drive layout. The larger 61 kWh battery can also be paired with an all-wheel-drive setup.
