It seems viewers can't get enough of the Korean rom-com Can This Love Be Translated? In its second week, the show moved up a spot to first place on Netflix's non-English TV shows list with nine million views.

The K-drama follows When Life Gives You Tangerines actor Kim Seon-ho as a multilingual interpreter, Joo Ho-jin, and Resident Playbook star Go Youn-jung as a famous actress, Cha Mu-hee, whose paths keep intersecting. Since its release on January 16, the show has grown through positive word of mouth amongst viewers. The limited series is also number 1 in 15 countries and it made it to the top 10 in countless others this week.

According to the data shared by the streaming service for the period of January 19 to 25, Can This Love Be Translated? hit number one in its second week on the non-English shows list with 9 million views and 118 hours viewed. That's double from its first week after its January 16 premiere, when it garnered 4 million views. The rom-com series was in the Top 10 in 36 countries, such as Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand.



Now, in week 2, it has become the number one show in 15 countries and is in the Top 10 in 60 countries, nearly double from week one. Seeing these numbers, it seems like Can This Love Be Translated? will go the way of When Life Gives You Tangerines, which stayed in the Top 10 for five consecutive weeks. In second places with 4.6 million views, was the South Korean reality series Single's Inferno Season 5 with 4.6 million views, while the Hindi series Taskaree: The Smuggler's Web starring Emraan Hashmi was in third place with 3.9 million views.
