The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 1 result on February 12. Following past trends, the NTA is expected to release the final answer key today (February 11).

Candidates scoring above the 99 percentile are expected to secure a rank below approximately 15,300. Those in the 98-99 percentile range may obtain ranks between around 15,300 and 30,700.

Steps to calculate JEE score using answer key
To calculate the score, candidates should give themselves four marks for each correct answer and should deduct 0.25 or 1/4th of the total marks (1) for every wrong answer.
To estimate JEE Main rank from percentile, candidates need the total number of students who appeared for the exam. However, the exact rank is determined by NTA after normalisation and tie-breaking rules and cannot be calculated precisely using a fixed formula. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website so as not to miss result-related updates.
