The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 session 1 answer key and response sheet will be released on February 4, 2026. Candidates who appeared in the entrance test on January 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2026, will be able to download them through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, available in PDF form.

In case of dissatisfaction, candidates are allowed to raise objections between February 4 and 5, 2026, by paying the required fee. To pose a challenge, candidates must provide valid arguments and supporting documents and pay Rs 200 per question challenged. "Challenges without justification/evidence and those filed on any other medium other than the prescribed link will not be considered," the bulletin states.

Afterwards, the subject experts will examine the challenges posed by the candidates. If any of them are found to be true/valid, a final answer key will be issued, based on which JEE Main Session 1 Results 2026 will be announced.

Note: NTA's decision on the challenges shall be final, and no further communication will be entertained.
