Partner Ganesh Kumar Baskaran complemented him well, contributing with steady play and timely winners during crucial moments.

Venkatesh and Abhishek Prasad settled for the silver medal after a spirited showing in the final. Despite the loss, the pair impressed with their approach to the title match and their competitive display on the concluding day of the tournament.


The PRC Battleground 2026 is being held in Chennai from January 23 to 26 under the aegis of the Indian Pickleball Association. The tournament has featured players across age groups, including veteran competitors from different parts of the country.
