Singapore added a new dimension to its growing pickleball culture with the launch of Pickle Splash at Wild Wild Wet, the country's first-ever pickleball courts located inside a waterpark.
The facility was opened by Downtown East at Wild Wild Wet, one of Singapore's most popular waterparks, offering visitors a blend of sport and leisure under one roof. The courts were designed to cater to players of all ages and skill levels, marking a significant step in making pickleball more accessible and recreational.
Located within the park's lagoon area, Pickle Splash at Wild Wild Wet featured two fully functional, water-resistant pickleball courts positioned next to the Royal Flush waterslide. The courts were made available to the public at a starting price of Rs 857.81, with paddles and balls offered for rent at an additional cost. The setup allowed guests to seamlessly move between swimming and pickleball, creating a flexible and casual sporting experience.

"Pickle Splash was created to give guests a fresh way to stay active while enjoying the park," Downtown East said in a statement. "By placing pickleball courts inside Wild Wild Wet, we wanted to combine the sport's fast-growing appeal with a relaxed, family-friendly environment."
The new attraction targeted a wide range of visitors, including families, couples and groups of friends, encouraging both first-time players and regular pickleball enthusiasts to take part. Guests were able to plan their visit around both activities, choosing to cool off in the water before or after a game.
Pickle Splash at Wild Wild Wet operated daily except Tuesdays, remaining open from 12 noon to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekends. With its unique setting, the facility positioned itself as a standout destination for active leisure in Singapore.
